Summer (G minor, RV 315)
Allegro non molto: The intense heat causes languor; birds sing.
Adagio e piano – Presto e forte: Insects buzz; a storm approaches.
Presto: A fierce summer storm breaks.
Autumn (F major, RV 293)
Allegro: Peasants celebrate the harvest with dances and songs.
Adagio molto: Many fall into a deep sleep from the festivities.
Allegro: Hunters go out at dawn; a hunt ensues.
Winter (F minor, RV 297)
Allegro non molto: Shivering in the cold, slipping on ice.
Largo: Sitting by the fire while rain falls outside.
Allegro: Walking on ice, falling, and getting up again.
